*There is a tradition in the Koerber household that whenever mom made icing, cookie dough or mashed potatoes, the kids would ‘call bowl’, meaning the mixing bowl, and not the beaters. John was always first on that one.

  1. So, so sorry to hear about this tragic loss. May the peace that goes beyond all understanding comfort you and my John be received into his heavenly home with our Lord.

    1. Hi Mike and Barb… Thank you for supporting us during this time of loss. Hope to see more of you now that we are closer to Bmore.

  2. Dear Tami and Francis,
This is Matt and Ginny Smith, Pauline Zeren’s parents. We were so deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of John’s death. You have been and continue to be in our prayers. We weren’t sure where to send a card, but want you to know that John has been enrolled in a Perpetual Mass Union with the Carmelite Friars of the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians at Holy Hill in Hubertus, Wisconsin. May this gift of prayer help to bring you comfort and peace. God bless you…

    1. Hi Matt and Ginny:

    1. Thank you Matt and Ginny. May our Good God bless each of you and your entire family and the may the angels surround you with His protection.

  4. Dear Francis & Tami,

I cannot soon forget the heart-rending sound of Tami’s voice on the phone on that dreadful day. But even then I knew, so strong is your faith and love, that you were both ready for taking up the Lord’s burden … your great sorrow will be turned to greater joy. His finger is upon you!

    1. Thank you Stan for your words of comfort. Hopefully I will be out to the college for the graduation this year as I will group up the trip with sorting through John’s things in the spring.
